About this space
Tucked into a quiet residential neighbourhood on the edge of Coloma, this updated single-level home sits in Southwest Michigan’s wine country, between Big and Little Paw Paw Lakes. It’s an easy base for a lake weekend, a Wine Trail tour, or a family trip to the Lake Michigan beaches — relaxed, comfortable, and all on one floor.
Three bedrooms sleep six. The primary is a king suite with an adjustable bed base, its own full bathroom, and a smart TV. A second bedroom has a queen bed and a smart TV, with a Pack ’n Play and high chair available for little ones, and a third has a queen bed with plenty of storage. A second full bathroom serves the two queen rooms.
The open living and dining area centres on a 65-inch smart TV and comfortable seating, with a dining table that seats six. The kitchen is fully stocked for real cooking, with both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker to get your mornings going. Out back, a deck with a gas grill and outdoor dining looks over the fenced yard, where a stone fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs and string lights is the place to end the day — firewood provided.
You’re about a ten-minute walk from public access to Big Paw Paw Lake and a bit farther to Little Paw Paw Lake’s small beach. Lake Michigan’s sandy shoreline is a short drive west — Hagar Park is about ten minutes, Silver Beach in St. Joseph about twenty-five, and the towering sand dunes of Warren Dunes State Park roughly thirty. Orchards, farm stands, and Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail tasting rooms are all close by.

Good to know
A short walk to the water — not on it
The home sits a few lots back from Big Paw Paw Lake in a quiet residential neighbourhood, with public lake access about a ten-minute walk away. It’s a walk-to-the-lake home rather than a lakefront one — an honest expectation so the fire pit and easy beach day-trips are the pleasant surprise.
Well water
This home uses well water, which can occasionally carry a light mineral scent — normal for the area. Filtered water pitchers and complimentary bottled water are stocked for you.
Water pressure
For the best water pressure, plan to run the washer or dishwasher in the evening rather than during peak morning hours.
Family-ready
A Pack ’n Play and a children’s high chair are available (kept in the second bedroom’s closet), and the backyard is fenced — handy for families travelling with little ones.
Single-level living
The whole home is on one floor, which makes it an easy stay for families and for anyone who would rather skip stairs.
A car is handy
This is a relaxed lake-country neighbourhood. A car makes the lakes, Lake Michigan beaches, wineries, and day-trip towns easy to reach.
Guest access & house rules
What's yours during the stay
You have the entire home and the fenced backyard to yourselves. One kitchen closet is locked and reserved for owner storage; everything else is yours. There is free on-site parking, and a car is the easy way to reach the lakes, beaches, and wineries.
House rules
- No smoking anywhere on the property

The place was fantastic, stocked with everything you could need and it was great to relax on the deck or at the fire pit while grilling out. Brett was extremely responsive and helpful, the location was great for the different things we had planned for our stay, and the beds were very comfortable!

We had a great time staying at Brett’s Airbnb. They were so responsive and helpful when we needed them. The place had everything we needed. Thank you!

It was nice house with space for everyone in a family of 5 members. Clean, peaceful house. However based on its location close to beach within 2 block walk, we expected to spend evening at beach on Paw Paw lake which turned out to be private beach.

Great home for our family getaway! Brett and Jessica were super helpful in giving us advice on where the best beach locations were and had beach towels available for use. Their baby gear worked perfectly for our little one, and the home was pretty baby friendly overall!
