This bright, single-story 1,100-square-foot home is a comfortable base for exploring Ohio's Lake Erie coast. It sleeps up to six across three real bedrooms, with a modern kitchen, an open living area, and a gas grill out back for cookouts.
The king bedroom and a twin room share the full bath, while the queen bedroom has its own private half bath — a handy bit of privacy for two couples or a family. Every bedroom has a smart TV in Guest Mode, and the living room's 65-inch TV works the same way: sign into your own streaming apps and you're signed out at checkout.
You're a short walk from Showse Park — nearly 20 acres of lakefront with walking trails and some of the best Lake Erie sunsets around. Main Street Beach, the downtown Vermilion shops, and a couple of wineries are a few minutes by car, and Cedar Point is about 30. The islands are a ferry ride from Sandusky or Port Clinton, and Cleveland is about 45 minutes east.

What we provide
A fully stocked kitchen with a Keurig and a drip coffee maker, K-Cups and creamer on arrival, and a dining table for six. The full bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, and a hair dryer. There’s an in-unit washer and dryer, and a gas grill out back for cookouts.

Getting to the beaches
The beaches here are a short drive rather than a walk, but Showse Park's lakefront trails and sunsets are a walk away. Main Street Beach and downtown Vermilion are a few minutes by car.
Parking (no boats)
The driveway fits two vehicles. There's no street parking, and it can't fit a boat — if you're bringing one, a local marina can store it during your stay.

The hosts were quick to respond, and they were accommodating to my requests. The interior of the house was updated, and there were lots of items for babies and small children. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a curtain on the side door window, and the front living room window was sheer. Other than that, I would recommend it to a friend. I also wish I had packed some nightlights for the twin bedroom and the half bathroom. The house is only 3 houses back from the lake, and we enjoyed walking along the lake to get to Showse Park. We also drove there, and there is plenty of parking.
